Rehabilitation: Quality Care + Therapy

Residents who need Rehabilitation live in the Nursing Care wing while they are undergoing rehabilitative therapies, including physical, occupational, or speech therapies. They most likely need skilled nursing care that includes assistance with most daily activities, such as bathing, getting dressed, eating, or getting in and out of bed. For residents who come specifically for rehab after a sickness or injury, we establish up front what the goals are (to stay in the Nursing Care wing, move to the Personal Care wing, or return home).

Rehabilitation Residents:

• Receive 24/7 skilled nursing care, from assisting with bathroom needs to feeding
• Private room or a semi-private room available
• Enjoy taking part in the myriad of activities (crafts, entertainment, pet therapy, book club, trivia, bingo, beauty salon, picnics, seasonal celebrations, worship services).
• Our continuum of care can accommodate our residents as their needs change.

We require every new resident to submit a medical report from his or her attending physician or hospital. Also, we try to conduct a personal interview with every prospective resident, so that we can assess the level of care they need.
